Great News! Hannah is on her way to Austin in May to compete in the State Level of the National History Fair. Today she placed first in competition, winning in individual performance. Hannah had to demonstrate 'Conflict & Compromise' in a historical topic, and she chose Apartheid in South Africa. Hannah developed two character studies, one a white school teacher, and one a Bantu school girl. She performed both characters simultaneously, wearing costume & painted face. Hannah's performance concept & dialogue were completely of her own creation, in fact, Mom & Dad have yet to see her perform it!(would have made her nervous):)
We are very, very proud of our only daughter, and have decided to keep her after all. We can't wait to go with her in May to State!
